Welcome to Fresh Fold Laundry. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using our website or any of our services. By accessing our website or using our laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms are a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer” or “you”) and Fresh Fold Laundry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and apply to all services provided. Fresh Fold Laundry provides laundry and garment care services to customers throughout Los Angeles, California including nearby regions. While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your garments and property, the cleaning and handling of laundry inherently involves some risk. You acknowledge and accept that garments may be subject to wear and tear, shrinkage, color fading, or damage due to fabric composition, manufacturing defects, or undocumented prior treatment. We do not guarantee removal of all stains or odors. Fresh Fold Laundry is not responsible for damage resulting from normal cleaning procedures when items do not have proper care labels or are improperly labeled by the manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability: In the event that any item is lost or damaged due to proven negligence by Fresh Fold Laundry, we will, at our sole discretion, offer compensation not to exceed the lesser of the item’s fair replacement value or $200 per order. Claims must be submitted in writing within three (3) days of delivery, with a clear description of the issue and supporting documentation. Claims submitted after this time period will not be accepted. Fresh Fold Laundry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or emotional distress.

Items Not Accepted: We do not accept responsibility for specialty garments or items labeled "hand wash only," "dry clean only," leather, suede, silk, wool, or other delicate or non-washable materials unless expressly approved in writing. Customers are responsible for identifying delicate or special-care garments. We also reserve the right to reject items containing bed bugs, mold, hazardous materials, or excessive soil, and may charge additional fees or cancel service if such items are submitted.

Pickups and Deliveries: Customers are responsible for placing laundry in the agreed-upon pickup location by the scheduled time. Missed pickups due to inaccessible or unsafe locations may incur a fee. Fresh Fold Laundry is not liable for loss or damage to laundry left unattended for pickup or delivery. We reserve the right to reschedule pickups and deliveries due to weather, traffic, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Abandoned Items: If clothing or other items are not claimed within 30 days of service completion and payment, they will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to donate, dispose of, or otherwise handle abandoned items at our discretion without further liability.

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via Square, ACH, or check. Invoices are sent to your preferred email and may be paid on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis depending on your chosen billing cycle. Late payments may be subject to interest, fees, or service suspension.

Cancellations and Rescheduling: Customers must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a pickup. Missed pickups without notice may result in a service fee. Fresh Fold Laundry reserves the right to cancel or suspend service at any time for any reason, including unsafe or unsanitary conditions, payment issues, or repeated missed pickups.

Customer Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for checking all garments before submitting them for service. Please remove all items from pockets, including but not limited to cash, jewelry, electronics, and personal effects. Fresh Fold Laundry is not responsible for any personal items lost or damaged in the laundry process. By submitting your laundry, you confirm that all items are safe to wash and do not contain hazardous substances or sharp objects.

Privacy and Website Use: By using our website, you agree not to engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with its operation or security. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California. By using our services, you waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in class actions.

TERMS OF SALE

Effective Date:  JANUARY 1, 2024 

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases and transactions made with Fresh Fold Laundry for laundry and related services. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Sale.

1. Services Offered
Fresh Fold Laundry offers wash & fold, dry cleaning, and laundry delivery services. The specific services available to you may depend on your location and our operational capacity.

2. Pricing and Payment
Pricing is based on service type, weight or item count, and delivery needs. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payments via Square, ACH, or check. Invoices are delivered via email and are payable according to your selected billing cycle.

3. Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion. Confirmation of a pickup does not guarantee we will be able to process the order if items are unsafe, improperly bagged, or exceed our capacity.

4. Refunds and Credits
Refunds or service credits may be issued at our discretion if there is proven loss or damage to items caused by Fresh Fold Laundry. Claims must be submitted in writing within three (3) days of order delivery with supporting evidence. Maximum compensation is limited to the fair value of the item or $200 per order, whichever is less.

5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that garments are properly prepared for pickup, free of valuables, and suitable for the selected cleaning method. You agree not to submit any items that may pose a health or safety hazard.

6. Delivery & Missed Pickups
We are not responsible for items left unattended at the customer’s request. Missed pickups or deliveries due to inaccessible locations may result in additional fees.

7. Sales Tax
Applicable sales taxes will be added to all orders where required by law.

8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, traffic, pandemics, or supply shortages.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from your purchase or use of our services shall be resolved in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
